Yetebaberut Food Complex
Our journey began with acquiring farmland from the government for investment, where we initially focused on wheat production. Observing a significant gap in the market for quality wheat products, we sought a loan from Oromia Cooperative Bank and secured 6 million birrs. With our established farm ensuring a reliable source of wheat, we ventured into flour production, quickly gaining market traction.
Yetebaberut Food Complex is the largest food manufacturer in Bale Robe, Ethiopia. Initially starting as a wheat farm, the company has grown to become a significant player in the food manufacturing industry, producing a wide range of wheat-based products.
Building on our success, we launched our macaroni line under the brand name Selam, followed by Selam biscuits, maize flour by sourcing raw materials from our farms, local farmers, and farmers' unions, and later expanded into pasta production under the Ottima brand. Today, Yetebaberut Food Complex is a trusted name, supplying high-quality, value-added wheat products to bakeries, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and wholesalers.
